Michael Ray’s passion for real estate has been evident throughout his 40 years of homebuilding experience. As a partner with The Housing Group, Michael identifies emerging metro Atlanta neighborhoods and works with a team of talented professionals to construct high-quality homes with timeless architecture, generous spaces and thoughtful amenities that create an enduring quality.
Under Michael’s leadership, The Housing Group has won numerous local and national residential building awards, including gold and silver Professionalism Awards by the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association and three Best in American Living Awards. Michael attributes much of The Housing Group’s success to the company’s continuous dedication to customer service and long-term commitment to its clients.

James MacDowell has more than 30 years of homebuilding experience. As a partner with The Housing Group, he is responsible for production for the company and its six current metro Atlanta communities.
James stays current on the latest building trends and design systems through continuing education classes, and keeps a pulse on the ever-changing real estate market by personally working with current and potential homebuyers. He strives to personalize each home and guide homebuyers through the construction process. Along with his building partner Michael, James has built more than 4,000 homes over his distinguished building career.
